The front door

Three sitters have taken this job at 13 Pell Lane this year, and nobody saw any of them leave. Dame Odalys Pell is back at nine. Her note on the door says: Be polite to the house. It decides who goes home. The lockbox code is taped beside it.

The House That Hates Guests runs in your browser and needs JavaScript turned on. Here is what it is about:

You took a one-night house-sitting job at 13 Pell Lane. Three sitters took it before you this year. Nobody saw any of them leave, and their bags are still in the hall cupboard. The owner, Dame Odalys Pell, is back at nine. Her rules are short: feed the cat, leave the good china alone, be polite to the house. The house decides by dawn whether you go home.
